First Kiss!

Carley got her first kiss this weekend! The Rabe's were in town so we went to see them. They have a little boy that is exactly 2 months older than Carley . So we arranged for Carley and Luke to share their first kiss. When we pulled them apart they both had drool all over their faces. It was so cute!! I'll admit...we are ridiculous!


They looked so cute together in their PJ's they held hands for a second. We will really have to watch these two in a few years.

What a catch!!!

I think this picture of Joel is sooo cute! He went fishing last night and this was his big catch. In the picture Joel's eyes look brown...weird! Brown or blue eyes he is still a good lookin man!

Memorial day weekend

What a fun weekend. We went up to the family cabin in Midway. Joel, Carley and I stopped at Taramuhara in Midway for lunch, they have a yummy salsa bar. We tried to get Carley to eat some but she was not interested.
We spent Saturday and Sunday playing games, going for walks, talking, and snacking....we did a little too much snacking. The conversations are always so interesting when Nicole is around, I love it.

Monday we headed to Park City to do a little shopping at the outlets with Jordan and Andra. We took some back road from Midway to Park City that took us through Deer Valley. It was really pretty. This is overlooking Midway.

At the very top there was still snow so of course the boys had to play in it.

We had fun shopping at the outlets and Joel got some really cute clothes to take me on dates in. I got a really cute dress. It was such a fun weekend but it definitely did not feel like 3 days.

Dad's have a "special" was of doing things. After our fun weekend Carley really needed a bath. Joel insists that Carley likes the way he bathes her...I don't know if i believe him. I think she is just too afraid to cry. Please notice that there is a nice baby bath tub right behind him. I think his bathing style is hilarious.

RENEWLASH

I have always longed for long full eyelashes. And supposedly in 3 months i can have them. My neighbor told me about a new Metics product called RENEWLASH that is supposed to make your lashes grow thicker and longer. I have been using it for about 2 weeks already. I feel like my mascara goes on smoother but that could be in my head. I am excited to see if this really works. Here is a before shot stay tuned for the after in about 10 weeks!

3 months old

Carley is 3 months old today. I can't believe it. She is so big and so much fun. One of Joel's cousins took a picture of her little girl every month next to the same toy, I loved the idea it will document her growth so much better. I'm starting a little late but here she is by her giraffe buddy. It hard to catch her with her legs extended and still. She is a mover.


She is constantly chewing on her hands so she leaks like a faucet. She will chew on anything but a bottle and a pacifier. She loves Joel's fingers but i guess mine don't taste very good.

Her smiles are just getting cuter with age! She knows just how to use those smiles too. She turns on the smiles and giggles at midnight when she wants to stay up and i am a sucker for them. She is just to cute to get mad at for long.

Happy Mothers Day!!!

Thanks to my cute little nugget it is my first official mothers day! It was a good and busy day. We went to my parents for lunch.

Carley tried to take a nap when ever one person would hold her for long enough. She was a trooper.

After lunch with my family we went to Grandma and Grandpa Hatch's for Grandpa Hatch's 85th birthday! These are 4 of their great grand babies. The oldest was born in July of last year and Carley is the youngest. Sooo many cute babies and they are all about the same size.


After the birthday party we headed to the Rabe's to wish Anne a happy Mother's day in person since Jake and Jill couldn't.
