Easter Eggs!!!
We had such a great Easter weekend. Unfortunately for the blog we did not take a lot of pictures. Saturday morning i woke up feeling like Betty Cr ocker. I made a delicious carrot cake and then a decided to make a delicious lemon cheesecake....SOOOOOOO good. I was so proud of myself. Thank you to our families for enjoying the cakes so we did not end up with 2 cakes in the house. We went to dinner with for Paul, Joel's step-dad's birthday on Saturday night and then headed to the Jazz game. The Jazz played the Super Sonics. The Jazz struggled through out the game but ended up with the win. We went to Joel's mom's house and stayed up till one in the morning dying Easter eggs. See pictures below. Sunday, I participated in my first Easter egg hunt EVER!!!. I found 5 of the 86 hidden eggs. The egg hunt was mostly for Jamie, Joel's 11 yr old sister but we enjoyed it too. We went to church, had brunch at the county club, took a nap, and had a great evening with my family in Roy. We finally got back to PG around 10...after that weekend we needed another just to recover. It was a fun weekend. Hope everyone had a great Easter. And yes, I'm at work right now bloggin.

Small miracles!!!
A small miracle happened at my house yesterday. I walked into the master toilet room and a new roll of toilet paper was hanging on the toilet paper roll!!! I had to chuckle because this is the first time in 2 years of marriage that Joel has replaced the toilet paper roll. He usually will just unwrap it and leave it on the back of the toilet. I was so excited i didn't even mind that the toilet paper wrapper is on the floor and the empty roll is on the back of the toilet. And for some reason i find this gesture endearing...lame i know.

2nd Anniversary
Monday the 10th was Joel and I's celebrated 2 years of wedded bliss. It was such a romantic evening. A nice dinner...just the two of us.

Oh...you probably thought I would go out to dinner with Joel on our anniversary...silly. Wendy's wedding anniversary is the 11th so we went out to dinner together to celebrate while our husbands had a bachelor party for Dan Frandsen. It was such a fun evening. We had a pasta fest and chatted away. Next time maybe we will let the boys come...maybe?

My first bachelor party!!
Preview of things to come!!!
Hopefully this is a preview of things to come...sooner or later. Dan got married on Thursday March 13th. We got to hang out with Wendy and Parker, Jared and Wendy's son, in between the luncheon and reception. We stopped by target and Joel pushed Parker all over the store and kept playing with him. Joel looked to cute not to take a picture. Joel has decided that i have to job shadow Wendy before we have a kid. Probably a good idea since i have no idea how babies work and have never changed a diaper in my life. And no I'm not pregnant. Just toying with the idea.

KAUAI!!!!!
We arrived in BEAUTIFUL Kauai on Saturday Feb 23rd. We had never been to Hawaii before this. It was amazing. We took so many pictures. This is one of my favorite pictures of Joel and I from the trip. Behind us is the Kipu waterfall. We jumped off of the water fall and sung from the rope swing in the background. I could have stayed there all day.
We rented surf boards one day. Amazingly enough we all got up!!! Joel was such a pro by the end of the day. Action shots of us surfing will be posted soon.
This guy hangs out by his truck all say selling ice cold coconuts to sucker tourists...what a lucky guy. With our nice cold coconut in hand we explored this cave with the Hall's.
Sand love
Joel LOVES the sand...as you can see. Most people get out of the water and towel off...not him. He likes to cuddle with the sand. He looks so peaceful sleeping with his face in the sand. The second picture is the day we went to Poi Pu to snorkel. When we got done snorkeling Joel decided to sand snorkel. I buried face down in the sand so he was breathing through his snorkel mask.
